En bedömning av den krönika ni skrivit finns nu på It's learning. Några av er har inte lämnat in ännu, eller glömt att skriva namn på så att jag inte vet vems krönika det är. Kolla på er bedömning så får ni se vad som gäller för er.

Franska v 46, 47, 48

Bonjour!

På tisdag har vi franskläxa att kunna, på korrekt och tydlig franska, beskriva vägen. Vi använder främst uttrycken allez, continuez och tournez. Alla ord vi behöver kunna finns utlagda på It's learning: MSPR-språkval franska - anslaget.

V 47 har vi muntligt prov hela veckan. Eleverna ska kunna berätta om Belgien utifrån mindmaps vi jobbat med. På provet kommer jag att visa en mindmap med svenska stödord och det utifrån dessa eleverna ska berätta på franska om Frankrike. Det är kunskapskravet muntlig framställning vi jobbar mot:

"I muntliga framställningar av olika slag kan eleven formulera sig enkelt och begripligt (E)/enkelt och relativt tydligt (C)/enkelt, relativt tydligt och relativt sammanhängande (A) med fraser och meningar."

Medan jag plockar ut eleverna enskilt tittar övriga på film. Detta innebär att man en av dagarna i ca 10 min gör ett muntligt prov med mig. Övrig tid tittar man på film.

På torsdag v 48 är det dags för det skriftliga provet på kap 1a och 1b. Vi har gått igenom vad det innehåller men om man glömt så finns en lista på s. 49 i övningsboken. Vi har t o m possessiva pronomen på provet.

Today we started a new reading project - this time in English. We're going to read the novel Holes, by Louis Sachar. This is what you can read about the book on amazon:

Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnatses. Now Stanley has been unjustly sent to a boys’ detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the boys build character by spending all day, every day digging holes exactly five feet wide and five feet deep. There is no lake at Camp Green Lake. But there are an awful lot of holes.

It doesn’t take long for Stanley to realize there’s more than character improvement going on at Camp Green Lake. The boys are digging holes because the warden is looking for something. But what could be buried under a dried-up lake? Stanley tries to dig up the truth in this inventive and darkly humorous tale of crime and punishment—and redemption.

Today's English Lesson

Today Pierre will be with you in English and this is what you'll be doing:

1. Talk to a partner.

• What are the characteristics of a good teacher? Make a list of at least eight qualities s/he must have.
• What are some characteristics a good teacher can’t have? Make a list of five of them.
• Have you ever had problems with a teacher? Talk about it.
• In your opinion, what are the greatest difficulties a teacher faces?

2. In groups of four (as you sit) - watch the movie segment below and then - in writing -:

• Describe the scene.
• How would you describe this group of students?
• How would you describe the teacher?
• How different is this reality from where you study? Explain.

3. Individually - in writing: What are your thought after seeing the whole film before the break? What stuck with you? Why?

4. Hand in you answers and remember to write your name on the piece of paper.
